All conference attendees must register. Personal badges will be provided to identify registered participants.

All registered participants will receive admission to the welcoming and farewell receptions and one set of the conference proceedings in CD-ROM format. Member and Non-Member registration also includes the Luncheon. Registration fees are shown in table below. Registrants who are members of any of the American Automatic Control Council Societies (AIAA, AIChE, AISE, ASCE, ASME, IEEE, ISA and SCS) may register at the Member rate.

NEW POLICY
Starting with 2010 American Control Conference, the following conference registration policy will be enforced at the time of final paper submissions:

 

•  Registration: A full "member" or "non-member" registration is required to be able to upload papers. Further, each full member or non-member registration allows you to uplod a maximum of four (4) manuscripts. Attendees may register under following registration categories, not all categories entitle you to upload papers.

•  Member: If you are a member of AIAA, AIChE, AIST), ASCE, IEEE, ASME, ISA, SCS, you are entitled to "Member" rate. This registration category entitles you to upload up to four (4) final papers. Each additional paper upload will require an amount equivalent to half the member registration fee.

•  Non-member: If you are not a member of any of the above organization(s), you should register at the non-member rate. This registration category entitles you to upload up to four (4) final papers. Each additional paper upload will require an amount equivalent to half the member registration fee.

•  Student: If at the time of registration or at the time of initial submission of paper for review you were a "full-time student" at a recognized institution, you may register at student rate. Please bring along evidence of full-time student status when you attend the conference. This registration category DOES NOT entitle you to upload final papers.

•  Retiree: If at the time of registration or at the time of initial submission of paper for review you had retired or did not hold a full time employment, you may register at Retiree rate. This registration category DOES NOT entitle you to upload final papers.

•  NOTE: Please note that life members of individual societies are not entitled to reduced conference registration rates at the American Control Conference.

Continuing education (CEU) credits for the workshop are available, and can be requested at the time of registration.

Advance Registration:

Advance registration in the workshops is highly recommended to prevent cancellation of, or lack of space in, the workshops that you wish to attend.

One regular registration fee (Member or Non-member fee) at the advance registration rate must be paid by one of the authors of a paper accepted to the conference before the final version of the paper can be uploaded for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Please note that a Student/Retiree conference registration is not a regular registration fee and cannot be used to upload the final version of your paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

On-line Registration:

On-line registration is strongly encouraged, and is available through the PaperPlaza web site. Please note that you must register on or before May 9, 2010 in order to receive the advanced registration rate. You will need your PaperPlaza Pin and Password to gain access to the on-line registration form. Make sure that Javascript is enabled and cookies are allowed in your web browser.

Please note that while advance registration will remain open until May 9, 2010, the final manuscript submission deadline is March 15, 2010.

Refund Policy

Please note that if an author has uploaded a paper using his or her registration, the registration will not be refunded even if the paper is withdrawn. Other requests for a refund of the advanced registration fee that are received by the advance registration deadline, May 9, 2010, will be fully refunded. Requests received between May 9, 2010 and June 1, 2010 will receive a 50% refund. There will be no refunds for requests received after June 1, 2010.

On-site Registration:

On-site registration is available at the Conference Registration Desk located is yet to be determined.

Packets for all advance registrations will also be at the registration desk.
